1. What inspired you to become a hairstylist?
I attended Vinal Tech High School and earned my hair license when I was 17, before graduation. It wasn’t until I was working in my first salon that I knew it’d be a lifelong thing for me. 

2. How long have you been in the hairstyling industry?
May 2025 will be 20 years! 

3. What is your favorite haircut or style to create?
I like drastic haircuts. Haircuts that change and transform my client into their most comfortable, confident self! 

4. What is your favorite go-to hair product that you can't live without?
I personally cannot live without dry shampoo! But also, Olaplex #7, it does a little bit of everything and is good for anyone and every hair type. 

5. What's the most memorable moment you've had with a client?
I had a spiritual guide connect with passed family members of mine, that was an emotional appointment! 

6. What's your favorite thing about being a hairstylist?
Watching my clients grow throughout their lives has really been an amazing experience. I’m at a point in my career where I’m doing prom, graduation and wedding hair for kids I’ve given their first haircut too. Watching clients have children and grandchildren and learning about all the milestones in between. Experiencing children growing out of hating haircuts is by far the best! 

7. What's the best piece of hair care advice you give to your clients?
Stop washing your hair every day and use heat protectant! 

8. Do you have a favorite hair trend from the past or present?
Mullets. I love a good classic curly mullet. 

9. What's the most challenging hair transformation you've ever done?
How long did it take?
Lots of at home box color fixes, especially after Covid. 

10. Are there any hair myths you wish people would stop believing?
MYTH: Plucking grey hairs to get rid of them
It is NOT okay, to pluck your grey hairs!

11. What's your favorite type of music to listen to while at the salon?
It varies, depending on the mood I’m in when I get to the salon and who I’ll have in my chair that day. 

12. Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of hairstyling?
I love going to concerts and I try to love running. 

13. What's your favorite way to spend a day off?
If it’s not at home with my husband and daughter we’re either traveling to our favorite spots, FL and San Diego or camping on the beach in RI. 

14. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Africa

SPRING

I run on Dunkin 

17. What's your favorite color?
PURPLE

18. What's your favorite flower?
All of them! 

19. What's your favorite candy or food?
Neither. I’d rather a Dunkin Iced latte, extra mocha with almond milk
